South Korea return home to unhappy fans

South Korean’s national team returned home after ending their World Cup campaign with a stunning win over Germany only to be greeted with eggs and Union Jack cushions from a small section of the crowd.

The unfortuante incident occured when the South Korea squad was posing for photos at the Incheon International Airport.

Tottenhams Hotspurs’ Son Heung-min and manager Shin Tae-yong addressed the crowd and apologized for their early exit from Group F. South Korea finished third in a group in which Sweden and Mexico made it to the next stage of the tournament whereas Germany finished bottom.
