‘playa:plajja’ by Tina Mifsud at camilleriparismode, Rabat
Tina Mifsud is still an up-and-coming artist but, honestly, I hope she’s here to stay! Her latest exhibition at camilleriparismode in Rabat was both fabulously colourful and extremely thought-provoking. Entitled ‘playa:plajja’, the exhibition was built around beach culture away and close to home, with contemplations on social behaviour at the beach materialising in a series of small and large paintings. Curated by Andrew Borg Wirth, the exhibition is now closed but I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of this young artist’s work in the months to come!
