Sliema’s double murder; Motive still unclear

A crime conference was held this afternoon at the Police Headquarters.

During the crime conference it was established that:

  • The house was turned upside down
  • The victims were shot at least six times
  • The autopsy will be carried out on Thursday
  • The 3 aggressors entered the house at around 10:19 pm and left around 4 to 5 minutes after
  • The motive is still unknown

14:29 At around 10:19 pm people were seen entering the house and left a few minutes after, at around 10:23 pm.

14:28 The Police spokesperson said that one of the victims Chris Pandolfino left the house at around 7 pm and returned at around 10 pm.

Dr Pandolfino used to be a medical practitioner in London who later started to work in the banking sector. He was an art collector. Maciejowski used to be a contemporary art dealer.

14:27 The two male victims were confirmed dead on site.

The victims were identified as Dr. Christian Pandolfino, aged 58, and Ivor Maciejowski, aged 30. The two persons were found dead on Tuesday night in their residence in Locker Street in Qui-Si-Sana area of Sliema.
