Sliema murder suspect: Third suspect has fled to Spain – report

A third man believed to be linked to the Sliema double murder has fled to Spain.

Partit Nazzjonalista’s media NET reported that the third man who is allegedly involved in the murder of doctor turned banker Christian Pandolfino (58) and art dealer Ivor Maciejowski, 30, has left for Barcelona, Spain.

On Friday afternoon, the police issued a statement saying that they initiated procedures to issue a European Arrest Warrant to apprehend the suspect. The police said that the third suspect is now abroad.

The media house revealed that the third suspect is also a foreigner however he is not from the Balkans.

Two men have already been charged in court in connection to the double murder. They have both pleaded not guilty.

Sources speaking to NET News have reportedly said that they could not understand how the third suspect managed to flee.
