Shuttle-bus service will be available from Pembroke’s Park and Ride to the University of Malta following a collaboration between the University Students’ council (KSU) and Malta Public Transport. The initiative was launched following a shortage of parking spaces in the areas surrounding University as well as easing traffic flow.
Carla Galea, KSU’s President said that this was part of the Council’s vision to provide alternative modes of transport to and from the University to all students.
The new route, TD17, will operate between Monday and Friday from Pembroke Park and Ride and will stop at Skate Park. The service will run every 15 minutes between 07:00 and 18:00 – with frequency changing to 30 minutes between 10:30 and 12:30.
