A 36-year-old man from Morocco, residing in iż-Żebbuġ, Gozo, pleaded not guilty after being accused of attacking and lightly injuring someone using a sharp weapon, amongst other accusations.
He was accused of the attack on 19th July, at around 10.30pm. He was also accused of carrying an illegal weapon, and of disturbing the public peace. The alleged attack happened in Triq in-Naħla, iż-Żebbuġ.
He was also accused of misusing technology and threatening someone else via this same technology, on 20th July at 11am. The final accusation regarded his voluntary misconduct on 20th July at 12pm, within the Police Station in Victoria, Gozo.
He pleaded not guilty on all counts, but was not granted bail.
