The Bank of Valletta has announced that the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) payment scheme which allows bank transfers between banks using the Euro denomination, have been restored.

The bank explains that it is still working to bring all of its banking services back up and running and will be communicating with customers and both online and through press releases.

The news comes following a cyber attack on the BOV on Wednesday, which saw an unknown body hacked €13 million from the bank.
