School pupils donate Christmas gifts to Peruvian schools

Pupils at St Aloysius Primary School have donated 600 shoe boxes of Christmas gifts to the missionary schools in Peru.

The project is an initiative of the School Student Council and was overseen by Fr Louis Mallia MSSP.

Fr Mallia will now oversee the distribution of the 600 shoeboxes to missionary schools in Arequipain Peru, currently under the administration of Bishop Giovanni Cefai MSSP Santiago Apóstol de Huancané.

‘The goal of this initiative, to collect 600 gift boxes to hand out so that children in the missionary schools may experience the love of Christ in another small and tangible way this Christmas was achieved, thanks to many families and friends of the pupils and staff,’ a spokesperson for St Aloysius said.
