School of Music hall to be used to store protection equipment

The main hall of Mikiel Anton Vassalli College’s School of Music, situated in Joseph Abela Scolaro Street in Hamrun, is to be used by the health authorities for the next three months to store PPE.

“Keeping in mind that we need to have ample space in which to store the required protective equipment, this hall is being prepared by the college workers so that as from next week it will store large amounts of protective equipment that shall be imported into Malta to be used during the Covid-19 pandemic”, explained the Head of the College Network Victor Galea.

“Our school, as well as the Mikiel Anton Vassalli College, is very proud to be contributing in such a minor way in our struggle with this pandemic,” added Maria Blanco, the newly-appointed Head of the Malta School of Music.

Since the closure of schools on the 13th March, all teachers at the Mikiel Anton Vassalli College have been in regular contact with all attending  students in any of the specialised schools within this college.
