Schembri, Gafa and OPM ex-worker in Tunisia – report

Tista' taqra bil- Malti.

According to a report, Keith Schembri, Neville Gafa and an ex-worker at OPM are in Tunisia.

Times of Malta revealed this news, but the reason for this visit is yet to be known.

Times said that Schembri is interested in doing business in Libya but that the region’s problems effectively mean that probably Schembri will not be dealing with this region.

Air Malta had a flight to Tunisia which departed this morning at 5:25am.

The site Lovin Malta tried to contact Schembri and Gafa but did not get any reply.

The MP for PN Jason Azzopardi posted on Facebook that Gafa flew to Tunisia yesterday. He added that Keith Schembri was also going there.

In December, the Government said that the ex-Chief of Staff of PM, Keith Schembri returned his diplomatic passport. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Newsbook.com.mt that Schembri “had a diplomatic passport due to the nature of the role he occupies.” He explained that the passport “was returned”.
