Satabank clients with more than €50 in their bank accounts were all contacted with details of how to receive their money back. This information was received by the clients last December.
In a statement, the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) directed the Competent Person who takes care of the bank’s assets to start the process to give corporate clients back their money.
The MFSA said that the clients were given all the details regarding the information being asked, as well as being encouraged to answer them as soon as possible. It was also said that Satabank worked closely with the MFSA and other authorities to achieve the right results for the consumers.
