Ligue 1 side Bordeaux confirmed that Malcom is set to join Roma for around £32m. Everton were interested in the Brazilian player but the highly-rated 21-year old has now decided to move to Italy. Since leaving Corinthians in 2016, Malcom scored 23 goals and provided 16 assists in 96 matches for the French side.
Roma have been busy in this summer’s transfer market and managed to recruite Javier Pastore, Justin Kluivert, Davide Santon, Ante Coric, William Bianda, Bryan Cristante, Nicolo Zaniolo, Antonio Mirante, Ivan Marcano and Daniel Fuzato. The Serie A side’s transfer budget has been bolstered thanks to the sale of goalkeeper Alisson for £65m.
