Ramona Attard seeks Labour presidency

Former ONE journalist Ramona Attard has announced that she will be seeking the post of President of the Labour Party, succeeding Daniel Micallef who is seeking the post of deputy leader for party affairs recently vacated by Chris Cardona.

Attard made her announcement via social media, citing Prime Minister Robert Abela’s appeal for more women to be involved in the party leadership.

She also revealed that her nomination had been seconded by Cospicua mayor Alison Zerafa Civelli – Prime Minister Robert Abela’s sister-in-law – and Ġuża Cassar.
