Qormi farm closed for illegally housing 110 migrants in cow pens

The Planning Authority has closed a farm in Qormi after finding out that around 110 migrants were living there in an illegal manner.

A Planning Authority official said that the migrants were living in various cow stalls in very bad conditions.  He said that the Authority received a number of reports regarding this case.

The migrants will be allowed to find an alternative place to live, since they insisted of being legal migrants.

Police officers went on site to investigate the case.
