Watch: 7 new COVID-19 cases detected in 24 hours

The Superintendent of Public Health Prof. Charmaine Gauci addressed the daily press briefing. Seven new cases were confirmed which means that there are 64 active COVID-19 cases.

A cluster of 2 people: a mother and her daughter
A cluster of 3 people related to another cluster of 3 people: all work in a particular ward in Mater Dei
Maltese male aged 41 – He is a healthcare worker at Karin Grech Hospital
Maltese female aged 30 – accompanied her partner who was feeling the symptoms of coronavirus. Her partner tested negative and the woman tested positive even though she did not feel any symptoms.
