Proceeds from ‘A Night at the Palace’ concert to go to animal rights organisations

‘A Night at the Palace’ will be the first concert to be held by the full complement of the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra after COVID-19. The concert will also feature internationally-renowned maestro Wayne Marshall and will take place at Girgenti Palace on the 22nd July 2020 at 8.30 pm.

This was announced by MPO Chairperson Sigmund Mifsud during a press conference held together with the spouse of the Prime Minister, Dr Lydia Abela.

Although admission will be free, the concert organisers are asking for a donation to raise funds for a sector which is very dear to Dr Abela – organisations that work for the protection of animal rights .

Tickets for the concert can be picked up on Tuesday from the Prime Minister’s Office from 9.00 am to noon.
