Next Sunday, the President George Vella, will be addressing a pro-life manifestation organised by the Malta Unborn Child Platform – MUCP.
President Vella will be one of the guests who will speak against abortion. Vella has communicated his pro-life values several times. According to Vella, if during his presidency he would need to sign a law in favour of abortion, he would resign from President.
The programme for this activity will start at 11am with a mass celebrated by the Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi, in the Co-cathedral of Saint John, in Valletta. The pro-life manifestion will start at 12pm in the Oratory of the Co-Cathedral.

At the same time, Prime Minister Robert Abela declared on several occasions that he is against abortion. In an interview with Newsbook.com.mt in the campaign for Prime Minister and Labour Party Leader, Abela confirmed that he is against abortion.
