A special screening of the Wim Wenders film ‘Pope Francis – A man of His Word’ was recently shown at the Embassy Cinemas in Valletta, with all proceeds going to Cartias Malta.
The event was held under the patronage of Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, who attended the screening.

Archbishop Scicluna said that he encourages all cinema goers to make the time to watch the film in local cinemas, which was released to celebrate five years since Pope Francis was first elected.
Caritas Malta director Mr Anthony Gatt said Pope Francis’s words make one think, and that he is an example to follow.
The Archbishop and Caritas Malta thanked KRS Releasing Ltd, Embassy Cinemas and Universal Pictures for making this screening possible.
