The representative for the Nationalist Party (PN) will be voting against the db Group project during the Planning Authority vote on Thursday, according to head of Nationalist Party Adrian Delia
Delia said this during an interview with MaltaToday journalist Kurt Sansone, held at the Floriana Granaries. He explained that the proposed project goes against regulations, and thus, unless there is a drastic change in the plan which would align it with regulations, the representative for PN Marthese Portelli will vote against.

Delia was asked about the Individual Investor Programme (IIP), which is to say, a way to buy Maltese citizenship. Delia said that before he had gone into politics, he had gathered around 5,000 signatures against such a thing. He went on to say that if he makes it to Government, he will do away with the scheme and bring about better thought-out investment.
Delia talked about domestic violence, and detailed that he is firmly against it. He stressed that he had voted against the law on domestic violence due to issues regarding unborn babies.
Delia has no remorse about voting against – PL
In a press release, the Labour Party (PL) said that Delia has no remorse regarding the fact that he voted against the domestic violence legislation, even though members of his own parliamentary group disagreed with him.
According to PL, Delia has re-confirmed that he doesn’t care about the vulnerable.
Earlier today, representatives from 12 NGOs, 3 local councils and residents protested against the db project which is being proposed to replace the ITS school. A 38 storeytower and a 17 storey hotel are being proposed.
