Partit Nazzjonalista (PN) has called out the Minister for the Environment José Herrera, for voting against ERA’s position in the Partial Local Plan Review of the North West Local Plan, and voted in favour of development in Ta’ Kalċ, an area in Dingli.

The Opposition stated that Government and Herrera, who is also responsible for the Environmental and Resources Authority (ERA) in the Parliamentary Committee for the Environment, voted against the wishes of PN, environmental organisations and ERA itself.

The Party concluded by stating that once the Minster for the Environment himself votes against ERA, there is no way forward; and that these actions are exactly what Minster Ian Borg and the Planning Authority wanted all along.
