Partit Nazzjonalista has called for more investment in the maritime sector, highlighting that many opportunities exist.
During a visit at Maritime MT in Birżebbuġa, Opposition leader and Partit Nazzjonalista leader Adrian Delia stressed that the Opposition was ready to promote discussion on the matter and a legislative framework which would promote innovative initiatives that would create new industries in the sector.
Maritime MT announced that it was recognised by the Scottish Qualification Authority. The recognition is not usually given outside the UK. €4 million were invested in the educational facility.
Delia noted that the educational facility was an example of how new opportunities could be created. He underlined that such investment should be recognised and supported.
The Opposition leader who was accompanied by Shadow Minister for Transport Toni Bezzina and Shadow Minister for SMEs Kristy Debono, was shown around the school.
