PN calling second urgent meeting in 24 hours

Tista' taqra bil- Malti. is informed that the Partit Nazzjonalista (PN) executive and administrative branches will be meeting urgently on Sunday. This is the second meeting called by PN leader Adrian Delia over a period of 24 hours.

These meetings are focusing on the latest developments in the investigations on the assassination of Daphne Caruana Galizia.

The PN and Opposition leader has also asked for an urgent parliamentary session to discuss the issues that are currently dominating Malta’s current affairs.

From its end, the Government said that it will convene a parliamentary session specific for the issue as soon as Police investigations are concluded.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Anġlu Farrugia had informed the leader of the Opposition that an agreement to assemble the House in the coming hours has not been reached.

In a public letter, Opposition and PN leader Adrian Delia said that he considered everything including the Prime Minister’s declaration of the 20th November in which Muscat assured the House of Representatives that the Government will be issuing a statement and is ready to allocate a whole session on the matter.
