PM pelted as he leaves parliament

Prime Minister Joseph Muscat Tuesday evening faced an unusual situation when he exited parliament to an angry crowd. As he was leaving parliament after a tumultuous day which saw the resignation and interrogation of his chief of staff and two ministers exiting the cabinet. The crowd gathered to protest for the rule of law pelted the PM with carrots, eggs and toilet paper as it showed its intense displeasure at the turn of events which have highlighted intense corruption at the highest echelons of Muscat’s government.
