Planning Authority set to approve dbTower project

torri db sit ITS mistenni approvat

On the 20th September the Planning Authority is expected to approve the db Group tower designed to be a prominent building on the premises which once housed the ITS.

In June, the project which will house an 18-floor hotel and a 37-floor tower aroused the ire of several local councils and residents.

On Newsline, a flagship program on RTK hosted by Fr Joe Borg and Manwel Delia, Ronald Camilleri, member of the Archdiocese’s Environment Commission, had called the project a shameful example of planning processes. Partit Nazzjonalista MP Karol Aquilina stated on Facebook that this project will not be of any benefit to residents in the neighbourhood.
