Pjazza Teatru Rjal followers may once again enjoy spectacular concerts in the truly unique open-air environment when the venue opens its doors again on the 7th August with the fourth edition of the ever-popular ‘Notte Italiana‘ by the Malta Concert Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Joe Brown.
Lawrence Gray, Fabrizio Faniello, Neville Refalo, Laura Bruno, Ritienne Azzopardi and Claudia Faniello will be interpreting evergreen songs the likes of Questo Piccolo Grande Amore, Fiumi di Parole, Ma che musica maestro, Perdere l’amore, Vedo nero and Sei bellissima.
Another important MCO appointment ‘A Night at the Musicals’ will be held on the 28th August in what promises to be yet another memorable summer night. Under the direction of Maestro Paul Abela, the Malta Concert Orchestra and singers Roger Tirazona, Nadia Vella, Chrissy Warrington, Jasmine Farrugia, Noel Zarb, Lawrence Gray and Paolo Micallef will revive some of the immortal numbers from the best musicals ever written such as West Side Story, Hairspray, Chess, Jesus Christ Superstar and Miss Saigon.
Maestro Joe Brown returns at the helm of the Malta Concert Orchestra to conduct MCO plays Bond on the 11th September. From the omnipresent James Bond and 007 themes to Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, From Russia with love and License to Kill performed by Ludwig Galea, Julie James, Olivia Lewis and Nadine Axisa, this concert will certainly make you experience the thrills and spills of a James Bond movie through the music.
All concerts start at 8.30 pm. Free tickets may be booked here and a minimum donation of €5 will be collected at the door in aid of charity.
