Piscopo appointed new Lands Authority CEO

James Piscopo was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Lands Authority. He will assume the new role in two weeks.

Shortly after the Labour Party won the 2013 election, Piscopo was appointed as CEO of Transport Malta after he occupied the post of chief executive of the Labor Party before the election.

According to the statement issued by the Ministry of Transport he will submit his resignation to the Transport Authority Board in the coming days.

Kevin Farrugia, the deputy chairman of Transport Malta will be assuming Piscopo’s office until they agree on a new chief executive to be appointed by a Parliamentary process.
