Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi led a pastoral visit at Fleur-de-Lys. A mass celebrated at the Madonna tal-Karmnu Parish Church which was attended by the Filipino and Indian communities, brought the pastoral visit to an end.

The pastoral visit kicked off with a visit to Dar Ħanin Samaritan where the elderly members of the Society of the Christian Doctrine (M.U.S.E.U.M.) are hosted after they turn 61. Auxiliary Bishop Joseph Galea-Curmi met with children, adolescents, catechists and lay people working in the pastoral field from the parish. He also took the opportunity to meet parishioners in their homes.

The Auxiliary Bishop also paid a visit to the Carmelite community, the Augustinian sisters and the nuns of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Mgr Galea-Curmi also took the opportunity to visit day care centres for the elderly, St Monica School and Santa Venera primary school.

Parish Priest Fr Martin Schembri accompanied Mgr Galea-Curmi on the pastoral visit.
