Institute of Tourism Studies students who are currently following a Higher National Diploma have created a number of Easter-themed chocolate sculptures.
The students were required to create an artistic sculpture made of pure chocolate, and since it is Easter time, the sculptures were adapted around the egg motif. The students’ different styles, creativity, and techniques are shown through various different designs.
Sixteen students created one sculpture each, under the supervision of ITS lecturer and alumni Andrew Farrugia. All the designs were sculpted by hand and made out of pure chocolate. Each sculpture took around ten hours of workmanship to create.
These chocolate centrepieces are currently displayed at the ITS campus in Ħal Luqa.
