Persian Eyes is a photography exhibition by accomplished artist and author Elizabeth Guyon Spennato.
It will be held at the Malta Postal Museum and Arts Hub in Archbishop Street, Valletta until the 30th October. The museum is open from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm on weekdays and from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm on Saturdays.
The opening exhibition of the season, Persian Eyes is a collection of photographs capturing the sheer depth and beauty of Persian eyes – eyes that belong to the so called Burnt Generation, that is people born between 1966 and 1990, who experienced the effects of the 1979 Revolution, followed by the Iran/Iraq War.
During the exhibition, poetry combines with the photographs, lending each image a powerful eloquence.
