Partit Laburista (PL) has approved another three candidates for the European Parliament election in May 2019. This brings the number of PL candidates for the MEP elections to ten.
This was announced through a press release from the party. The new candidates are Noel Cassar, Josianne Cutajar and Fleur Vella. They will be joining the other seven candidates namely Alex Agius Saliba, Felix Busuttil, Josef Caruana, Miriam Dalli, Cyrus Engerer, James Grech and Joe Sammut that that have been approved by the PL to contest the MEP elections under their banner in September.
Noel Cassar is a 32-year-old Banking and Finance graduate from Żejtun who is an Executive member of IDEAT Foundation, leads and local investment company and lectures at the University of Malta amongst others.
Josianne Cutajar is 29 years old, hold a legal doctorate and is the current Gozo Channel vice-Chairperson and Nadur local councillor. She is also a member of a number of committees.
Fleur Vella is commerce and economics graduate that also holds a master in business administration. She advocates various issue amongst which infertility, domestic violence and the environment amongst others.
