Parking at Mater Dei to cost employees €2 daily

No agreement was reached during the meeting between General Workers’ Union and the Government regarding the €2 charge for Mater Dei staff, according to the workers.

Workers at Mater Dei would not get an increase in their pay and were left without parking according to a source that spoke with newsbook.com.mt.

Questions were sent to GWU regarding the case, however until the time of writing the newsroom did not receive a reply.

Mater Dei’s CEO Ivan Falzon had explained that parking at the Hospital was leased out to a new contractor that would offer free parking to the contractor’s employees but not to employees of other companies.
