The Saint Joseph the Worker Exhibitions Society is organising its 17th consecutive cribs exhibition at the Saint Joseph the Worker Parish Centre, no. 71, Bwieraq Street, Birkirkara.
More than 70 cribs of various sizes and materials will be on display, together with other items related to the Christmas period, such as statues of Baby Jesus, pictures, semolina paintings and decorations. Most of the items are hand-made by the exhibitors themselves. Moreover, this year’s exhibition will also feature particular antique items which will be on display for the very first time during this exhibition.
Together with the cribs exhibition, a sale of poinsettias, plants, Christmas decorations and traditional Christmas sweets will also be held. A bar/cafeteria will also be set up.
The exhibition will be open from Saturday 7th December until Friday 27th December, every day from 9.00 am until 12.00 pm and 4.00 pm until 8.00 pm. Entrance is completely free of charge.
