Archbishop Charles Scicluna’s message which marks the fifth anniversary of Pope Francis’ encyclical, Laudato si’, is that we should never forget to serve the poor.
Laudato si’ is the second encyclical of Pope Francis published in 2015.
In a vlog published on Friday, Archbishop Charles Scicluna reminded how in the encyclical, Pope Francis mentions the importance to take care of one another in order to safeguard what God created.
Scicluna also explained how Pope Francis refers to the quality of life which needs to improve if we practice solidarity. The Archbishop said that this aspect can be linked to the present life we are living due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Laudato si’ encyclical refers also to the environment degradation especially global warming and how Pope Francis calls on the people to take action.
