During the concert, Mitchell will play music by Bach, Marchand, Vierne and Reger as well as improvisations. The music that will be performed is of a certain level and this will give space to Mitchell to put into practice his abilities on a versatile instrument that was recently made (2016) which was designed also for high standard concert needs.
Designed specifically for the Xewkija church by Noel Gallo, a Maltese internationally-renowned organ architect, the organ is a three-manual instrument of 39 stops which includes also a set of 25 tubular bells.
The concert, which is free to attend, will be held on the 25th of August at 7.30 pm. For more details, click here.
