The Spanish rescue boat which rescued 60 migrants from a repaired rubber dinghy was given permission to enter the port of Barcelona.
Open Arms, a lifeboat belonging to the Spanish Non-Governmental Organization Proactiva Open Arms, rescued a group of 60 immigrants, which included five women and four children, from certain death.
The immigrants on board were Palestinian, Syrian and from Guinea. They were all in good condition.
In a tweet, Barcelona’s mayor, Ada Colau, said that the city was ready to grant the ship authorisation to enter in Barcelona.
