One new Covid-19 case reported, no recoveries

One new case of Covid-19 has been reported in the past 24 hours, with health authorities describing the case as “sporadic.”

No recoveries were reported during the same period, bringing the number of active cases up to 38.

650 cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in Malta so far, with 603 people making a full recovery. The virus has claimed 9 lives in Malta so far

The new case was identified through 554 swab tests, with the number of tests carried out continuing to be lower during weekends. A total of 82,817 swab tests have been carried out so far.
