The traffic lights at the northern end of Triq l-Imdina, a few metres away from the Ta’ Srina roundabout, will no longer be in use.

Infrastructure Malta has announced that they the rebuilt one-way road at Tal-Ħemsija will be used by drivers exiting from Ta’ Qali near the Ta’ Srina roundabout between Rabat and Attard. Infrastructure Malta stated that this will facilitate a safer exit.

Works to rebuild the 750-metre rural road at Tal-Hemsija included the reconstruction of boundary rubble walls, a new pavement, underground water and wastewater pipelines, a stormwater catchment system and a new asphalt road surface on reinforced foundations.

This rebuilt one-way road will be used as the exit from the Ta’ Qali’s Crafts Village area, to Zebbug, Rabat, and the Northern area.
