No new Covid-19 cases, one patient recovers

No new cases of Covid-19 have been reported overnight, while the recovery of one patient brought the total number of active cases down to 39.

As generally happens on weekends, the number of swab tests carried out in the past 24 hours – 464 – was considerably lower than the daily average. The total number of swab tests carried out in Malta so far is 88,694.

The total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Malta remains 665 cases. The pandemic has claimed nine lives in Malta, but 617 patients – 363 males and 254 females – have made a full recovery.
