Former Labour leader Alfred Sant wrote that when the Panama Papers scandal broke out, his advice was not welcomed by many and ignored at the end of the day. Now look what happened, he added.
On facebook, the Labour MEP said that Malta is still coming to terms with what he called a political and criminal soap-opera.
He said that when a small fires are allowed to grow, the chances are that they will turn into one big flame. Sant explained that new incidents were cropping up and the situation was getting worse.
“Who serves to istigate confusion should be removed as quicklu as possible. That was my advice which fell on deaf ears,” he revealed.
