Muslim Community donates wheelchairs and hampers to Gozo Hospital

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta donated six wheelchairs and 100 fruit hampers to the Santa Anna Residence at the Gozo General Hospital. Imam Laiq Ahmed Atif called it a clear sign of the attention which the Community gives to the elderly in society.

The Imam and President of the Muslim Jamaat, presented the donations to Mr Joseph Fenech, the CEO of Gozo General Hospital. Fenech welcomed the community and explained what the Santa Anna Residence does.

In a statement, it was said that the Imam spoke about how the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community “pays a great importance to serving mankind and looking after those in need”. He also commended the staff serving the elderly, adding that the Community also has “love and care for the elderly people of society”.
