More than 70 cribs on display in Birkirkara exhibition

The Saint Joseph the Worker Exhibitions Society shall be organising its 16th consecutive cribs exhibition, at the Saint Joseph the Worker Parish Centre, no. 71, Bwieraq Street, Birkirkara.

More than 70 cribs, of various sizes and materials, will be on display, together with other items related to the Christmas period, such as statues of Baby Jesus, pictures, semolina paintings and decorations. Most of the items are hand-made by the exhibitors themselves. Moreover, this year’s exhibition will also feature particular antique items which will be on display for the very first time during this exhibition.

Together with the cribs exhibition, a sale of poinsettias, plants, Christmas decorations and traditional Christmas sweets will also be held. A bar/cafeteria will be set up, where one can entertain himself with one’s family and friends in a festive atmosphere.

The exhibition will open as from Saturday 8th December (Feast of the Immaculate Conception) until Friday 28th December, every day from 9.00am till 12.00pm and from 4.00pm until 8.00pm. Entrance is free of charge.
