“We are committed to helping vulnerable families and believe that every child has the right to education, especially today, when access to digital systems is essential to continuing their educational journey”.

This was stated by the Chief Executive of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services (FSWS), Alfred Grixti, during a visit by the CEO of Casumo, Shelly Suter Hadad, at the FSWS offices in Santa Venera. During this visit Suter-Hadad presented 25 tablets to be given to students for educational purposes.

Grixti thanked the company for its donation and explained that these tablets will go to those children who come from vulnerable families and are being followed by the FSWS. He thanked Casumo for its contributions during Covid-19, including a whole 10 weeks of meals prepared by Casumo Chefs as well as the donation of 1000 masks.

The Chief Executive added that the foundation works hard to assist families in need. He appealed for more companies to follow the example of the Casumo because the Foundation firmly believes that every child has the right to an education.

Also present were the Operations Director of the Directorate for Alternative Care (Children and Youth) & Aġenzija Appoġġ Remenda Grech, as well as Veronica Zammit from Casumo’s Employee Experience team.
