MFSA says first stage of Satabank asset releases completed

The Maltese Financial Authority, the MFSA, has announced that Satabank has completed the first stage of its asset release to its customers.

From Monday 26th November, Satabank had begun the process of contacting its Maltese resident customers with assets of between €50 to €15,000.

According to the latest Public Notice, that process is now complete and Satabank will now be moving on to contacting its non-resident customers within the same asset bracket, from next week.

MFSA also explains that the Hardship Fund for corporate clients, which was also announced during the previous Public Notice, will be continued.
