The Methadone Detox Centre will be changing its operating procedures due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
In a statement, the Ministry for Social Solidarity said that the Foundation for Social Well being Services (FSWS) was implementing some changes to ensure that operations continue.
The centre’s employees will be split into two groups and won’t come into contact with each other. In this way if an employee from the first group contracts the coronavirus, the whole group would have to go into quarantine. This would mean that someone from the group would have to work for 14 days in a row.
