Melvin Theuma visited Castille 3 weeks after Daphne’s assassination – Report

The pardoned middleman in the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia, visited the Office of the Prime Minister a few weeks after the Caruana Galizia was murdered.

According to details published on Monday by Times of Malta, the middleman, Melvin Theuma visited Castille just three weeks after the assassination.

Theuma has not yet testified in court about the visit at Castille when he took a photo with Joseph Muscat’s ex-chief of Staff, Keith Schembri.

Melvin Theuma’s visit at Castille in November 2017 was his second visit as he had already visited OPM when he was assigned to a job in the public sector. Theuma was offered the job by Keith Schembri.

The report in Time of Malta said that “the middleman met Schembri’s former assistant Charlene Bianco Farrugia on November 10. The meeting was set up by the suspected mastermind behind Daphne’s assassination, Yorgen Fenech, who is a childhood friend of Schembri.”

According to the published details Charlene Bianco Farrugia was asked to solve problems Theuma was having with Transport Malta because of works outside his home in Żurrieq.

Melvin Theuma was the middleman who commissioned the three men accused of Daphne’s murder, George Degiorgio, Alfred Degiorgio, and Vincent Muscat.

Theuma has also recorded conversations with businessman Yorgen Fenech who is being accused of ordering Daphne’s murder.

Yorgen Fenech is implicated in the scandal of the secret Dubai company, 17 Black – a secret company whose owner was identified as local power station businessman – Yorgen Fenech, with his name being revealed through e-mails in 2018, having one of the 2 companies (17 Black and Macbridge) to pay the secret companies of Konrad Mizzi and Keith Schembri in Panama.

Fenech is also being investigated by French authorities in order to establish if Fenech used his assets in France to finance the assassination of journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia.
