Melania disagrees with President Trump over immigration

Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States has expressed her concern on the way families are separated because of her husband’s controversial policy to separate families who enter the country illegally.

She “dislikes seeing children separated from their families and hopes that both sides reconnect for the immigration reform to be successful”.

The First Lady’s spokeswoman, Stephanie Grisham, spoke to CNN about the  2,000 children who were separated from their parents who entered illegally from the Mexico’s border, because of the “zero tolerance” policy from Trump’s Government.

Mrs. Trump added that she believe that “the United States should be a country which abides by the rules but which should also possess an warm heart”.

People who try to cross the US border, many of them trying to apply for asylum, are placed in custody and could face criminal charges for illegally entering country.
