Graffiti Movement is giving you the chance to meet with life-saving NGOs representatives who work to save stranded migrants out at sea.
In a statement, the Movement explained how during the last months, many have commented about the migrant situation in the Mediterranean. The Maltese controversy with Italy was also mentioned.
They said how despite all this, NGOs continued to work and save migrants who were at the risk of drowning and dying. Currently, many of the NGOs’ ships are located in Malta and are not allowed to leave.
Graffiti Movement is inviting everyone who wishes to ask questions to representatives from Sea Watch and Lifeline to visit the Volunteers’ Centre in Valletta on the 10th August at 6.30pm.
The discussion will be moderated by Michael Grech, a philosophy lecturer with Junior College.
