On Sunday 8th December, the Old Motors Club Malta, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, organised another edition of the Mdina Glass Classic Car Show & Rally .
About 30 classic cars competed in the rally and another 30 or so cars gave a show in front of the Mdina Glass premises in Ta’ Qali.
The participants who took the challenge of the rally that consists of travelling a pre-established route, which normally include roads not frequently traveled, most in the countryside, and offering unique scenery and wonderful country views. The route is to be traveled on a specific time and speed as established by the organisers. Each competing crew consist of a driver and a navigator.
The age of competing vehicles ranged from the 1920s to the 90s. Now the wait is on for the 12th January when the results will be read and winners presented with their trophies. The presentation will take place at the Old Motors Club Malta Clubhouse in Hope Street, Mosta.
