Matilda The Musical postponed due to Coronavirus situation

The musical was due to be staged by Masquerade Malta in April at the MCC.

Due to the current constantly developing situation with coronavirus, Masquerade Malta, the producers of Matilda the Musical, regret to announce that the show, which was due to be staged next month at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, has been postponed.

Director Anthony Bezzina says, “it was of course a difficult decision; but one that was inevitable taken we have the best interests of our extraordinary cast and audience members at heart. In these extraordinary and difficult times we need to rally round and do what is right for our collective well-being.”

Bezzina added that he and his team are in the process of seeking new dates to get Matilda on the stage as soon as possible, while an announcement will be made imminently to patrons who have already purchased tickets about their options.

“We’d like to thank all our supporters and patrons, and we can assure you the show will go on!” Bezzina added.
