A 26-year-old man was grievously injured after a car he was in crashed into a jewelry shop in Birkirkara.
The incident happened at 4.30am on Fleur De Lys Road.
A 24-year-old Nepalese driver lost control over his vehicle and crashed into a jewelry shop. At the time of the incident there were two other passengers. While the driver and one of the passenger escaped unharmed, the 26-year-old Nepalese man sustained grievous injuries.
He is being treated at Mater Dei Hospital.
The police are investigating the case.
